Byron Bay Premiere

A photo I took years ago of my steadfast old friend, The Cape Byron Lighthouse. I'm looking forward to playing The Heart & The Sea in the Bay in just a couple of weeks on the 19th of December. Phone the Byron Bay Community Centre on 0266856807. Tickets are selling fast.

The Heart & The Sea Screenings

These are the confirmed dates for premieres for The Heart & The Sea so far. There's more to follow & I'll post them up as soon as they're confirmed. Please note that the world premiere at Avoca Beach on December 8th is now sold out, but there's another Avoca show scheduled in January. Thanks for your interest everyone! I hope that you can make it to one of these shows to check out The Heart & The Sea on the big screen.

The Sea Kin

My friends at The Sea Kin have just released an online 'zine. I was grateful to have some work included in this left of centre contribution to surfing culture. Please take a look & share it with your friends.

The Sea Life

I have long admired Matt Johnson's photography. He runs a beautiful little part of cyberspace called The Sea Life. A couple of weeks back he was kind enough to point his lens in my direction. You can see the photos here.

White Horses

Thankful to get some more photos and words featured in 'White Horses', a very fine magazine that continues to gather a justified reputation as a world class surfing publication. This article is an interview I did with Dave Rastovich telling the story of christening the 16 foot Olo that he made alongside Tom Wegener. I also tell Dave's story of this remarkable first surf in 'The Heart & The Sea.'

Seaworthy / Movie of the Week

My film Seaworthy is being featured on as their movie of the week. Click here to buy the film & watch it on the device of your choice - computer, iPad, iPhone or TV. Thanks for supporting independent surf filmmaking!

I was invited by Victor from Spain who has a blog called 'El Verano Sin Fin' to choose ten things I wanted to have or do in my life. It sure made me think. Here's the link.

'Heartwood: Paul Joske's Seed to Sea Journey'. This is an article I put together about Paul Joske that features in this month's issue of Pacific Longboarder. The story also gets told in moving pictures in 'The Heart & The Sea'.

The Heart & The Sea / Byron Bay Premiere

Here's an interview I did with my friends at Common Ground Byron Bay, about my film 'The Heart & The Sea', which premieres in Byron on the 19th of December. Tickets are available here. I hope to see some of you there.
